Christina Bell, Director

Hello, my name is Senora Bell and I am certified to teach Spanish to (K-12) students.  My specialty is teaching elementary school aged children the Spanish language and culture.

I earned National Board Certification in World Languages this year. My students and co-workers know me as Señora Bell.  I have two sons ages 12 and 9 who manage to keep me on my toes and a guinea pig named Isaac.

I was born in the small town of Dunkirk, NY, but as a child I had the privilege of moving to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and living immersed in the Spanish language. My fondest memories of Puerto Rico are of the food, the people, the music, and the weather.  When my family returned to New York I learned to Speak English, but I tried throughout my lifetime to preserve the Spanish language and culture that I love.

My passions are spending time with my family, getting together with friends, reading, cooking, having new experiences, teaching Spanish, running a summer Spanish Immersion Camp, listening to music, teaching dances such as La Raspa, Jesusita Chihuahua, Flamenco, Salsa, Merengue, Cha  Cha, Cha, and Bachata. My favorite foods are Chinese, Indian, Italian, Caribbean, Spanish food, Thai and American food.

My future goals are to travel to Spain, Mexico,  Central America and South America and bringing back all my experiences to my students.
